Hey Genius Speakers,
Make the present better. If you make this moment better, you'll make your future better.
Almost everyone knows what they need to do, but we still don't do it.
Why?
Either we're thinking about the past or the future. Very few people live in the present moment and do the necessary things.
For example, if you keep worrying about past mistakes or the future and don't take enough action, it's a sure way to set yourself up for failure.
Today's Actions Shape Your Future
Why don't we understand such a simple concept and use it to make our lives better?
Once you learn to make the most out of the present moment, you start to win.
But the reality is the opposite.
We end up watching reels, scrolling through YouTube and Facebook, and at the end of the day, you realize, "Oh, I didn't do anything. I wasted 2 hours on social media. I could have used those hours to work on important things or read a book."
And what happens the next day?
You repeat the same activities, and it becomes a habit, which soon turns into an addiction.
So now your life is on autopilot mode.
You work, spend free time on social media or watching TV, and this cycle keeps running.
Down the line, after 2-3 years, you'll ask yourself what you've done.
Isn't this the same thing that happens to average people?
Success and Failure
In this world, 5-10% of people are successful, and the rest are distracted.
In my newsletters, I talk a lot about mindset because everything happens from here.
Once you have the right mindset, you can figure out the rest of the things.
Working on your mindset is like laying the foundation for a successful life.
Win Your This Moment
You can always win your next moment, minute, and hour.
But you can't change your past.
Of course, learn from your past, but don't invest too much energy thinking about your past or future.
If you do that, you're losing your present, which has the potential to change your life.
For example, you might have had a bad experience with a previous communication skills course. You bought it and learned nothing, and because of that, you stopped enrolling in courses.
But the right way is to learn to identify the right person to follow.
Do you take responsibility for your actions, or do you complain that the institute offered a poor course?
The day you start taking responsibility for your actions is the day you have the power to change your life for good.
Start focusing on the present moment. Make this moment the best. Bounce back every minute, every hour. That's the key to success.
If you couldn't post your speech today, you have the next moment to create a post speech in the community.
If you couldn't watch the course lessons, you can do it now.
Whenever you realize you didn't take the necessary actions, take positive action immediately.
This simple habit will change your life.
